Ben krijgt de 'Best Job in the World'

Sinds 22 februari hebben honderden mensen zich ingeschreven om in aanmerking te komen voor de Best Job of the World.

Vorige week werd de uitslag bekend gemaakt. De 34-jarige Engelsman, Ben Southall, heeft de competitie uiteindelijk gewonnen. Hij wordt Caretaker of the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Een prachtige pr-stunt van Queensland in Australië. Hij staat ook gelijk in de top 50 public relations stunts in the world.

According to Tourism Queensland marketing executive director Steve McRoberts, while they knew they "had something special", they were still surprised and humbled by the campaign's continued success. "The whole campaign has surprised us by how the world has embraced it."

    Is zo'n actie al eens eerder voorgekomen? Ik heb het in de krant gevolgd en het bleek dus één grote marketingactie te zijn! ik vind het persoonlijk geniaal!

    Ik ben het er wel mee eens dat het het een goede actie is. Aan de andere kant, ze hebben ook wel een aardig product om aan te bieden..
