Op zoek naar een nieuwe job? Dan heeft Australië misschien wel een goed aanbod voor u. De vereisten zijn goed kunnen zwemmen en Engels spreken. En op zes maanden tijd heeft u voor twaalf uur per maand een mooie som van 80.000 euro verdiend.

Australië is namelijk op zoek naar iemand die 6 maanden lang wil passen op een paar onbewoonde Bounty-eilanden. De job start op 1 juli en het enige wat er van de kandidaten verwacht wordt, is dat ze vanuit een villa een oogje in het zeil houden.

Verder zal 'the chosen one' schildpadden voeren, walvissen spotten en af en toe iemand van de vaste wal oppikken. Maar er moet ook gewerkt worden aan public relations. Zo moet er een weblog bijgehouden worden en interviews gegeven worden om de eilanden te promoten.

De toeristische dienst van Queensland heeft laten weten laat weten dat er nog geen geschikte kandidaat gevonden is. Geïnteresseerden kunnen zich aanprijzen via een video van maximaal 1 minuut. Tot en met 22 februari is het mogelijk te reageren, daarna worden 11 kandidaten geselecteerd die naar de eilanden gevlogen worden om daar een selectieprocedure te ondergaan. De gelukkige winnaar wordt op 6 mei bekend gemaakt.

    I think i would be a great candidate for your project. My favorite passtime is diving and mountainbiking, i have been a seafarer for 12 years and love my outdoor sports. i am a chief engineer on a private motor yacht where i have to take guests on tours around islands i dont know, take them diving and jet skiing and swimming. I can maintain all equipment and dive gear and other mechanics my self and i have a ticket for sailing boats as well. I am unable to send a video of my self at this time, but if you are interested i could do so at a later date. I am currently in st maarten with guests, and dont have a great deal of time, and no available camera.

    I hold an open water PADI dive certificate, diving being a favourite pastime and mountain biking and hiking.
