Time Magazine heeft een lijst van hun top tien van de beste en de meest opvallende gadgets van het afgelopen jaar online gezet.
Apple's iPhone 3G staat daarin op de derde plaats. Over de nummer 1 zeggen ze: "Of all the gadgets on this list, this is the one that James Bond is most likely to carry." De gehele lijst ziet er als volgt uit:
