Apple CEO Steve Jobs heeft tijdens de Macworld Expo in San Francisco de goedkoopste Macintosh computer in de 21 jarige geschiedenis van het bedrijf geintroduceerd. De Mac Mini kost $499 (ofwel €400). Verder gaf melden Jobs dat Apple 8 miljoen iPod's heeft verkocht in 2004!
