PayPal neemt Fraud Sciences over
PayPal (eigendom van eBay) heeft voor zo’n 169 miljoen dollar Fraud Sciences Ltd overgenomen. Een bedrijf dat gespecialiseerd is in online risk management. 
De overname zou zowel PayPal als eBay moeten helpen om betere fraudepreventie tools te ontwikkelen en bestaande te verbeteren. Scott Thompson, President of PayPal: "Integrating Fraud Sciences’ risk tools with PayPal’s sophisticated fraud management system should allow us to be even more effective in protecting eBay and PayPal’s hundreds of millions of customers around the world."
