"Skype, a division of beleaguered eBay, is going corporate". Dat heeft het bedrijf vandaag bekend gemaakt. Volgens de Wall Street Journal zal Skype for SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) geïntroduceerd gaan worden als een beta product en zal het getest worden door een paar bedrijven.
Als je mee wil testen is dat gewoon mogelijk: "To participate in the Skype for SIP Beta Program you will need to create a temporary Skype ID to use for the Beta Program and you must have, and be able to configure, your own SIP Enabled PBX that supports G.729 codec."
